Darf ich nochmal an das Thema von Post #114 erinnern. Hätte da denn jemand daran Interesse ? Das ganze würde auch (was wohl noch die bessere Wahl wäre) mit SubD umsetzbar sein. Hat da jemand Interesse ?

Von meiner Seite nicht wirklich Interesse.
Wenn ich sowas wollte, würd ich einfach direkt von der Platine auf die gewünschten Stecker verbinden.
Hab ich ja jetzt mit den XLRs auch so gemacht.
Und so kann ich mit Standard XLR Kabeln weitergehen.
Den Platz hab ich sowieso schon verbaut.

hat sich schon jemand Gedankern zu einem Display gemacht?

Wenn da Aurora als DSP Vorverstärker laufen soll find ich das sehr sinnvoll.

Wie wärs denn mit dem Nexion Touch.z.B. NX4024K032
Hat 3.2" und ist um die 20 Euro zu haben.
Als Erweiterung gibt es noch 8 GPIO.

Die Proggramierung der Grafik erfolgt über eine eigene GUI.

Auf den ESP32 geht es dann per I2C.

ich habe hier schon Versuche mit einem 3.5" Touch Display von waveshare angestellt.
Das ist aber leider nur sehr rudimentär. D.h. die Programmierung der Display GUI ist sehr aufwendig. Deswegen habe ich es erstmal wieder beiseite gelegt, weil andere Dinge dringender wurden.
Die Nextionsachen sehen sehr interessant aus. Allerdings habe ich noch nichts zur Ansteuerung über I2C gefunden, sondern nur über RS232.
I2C würde ich bevorzugen, weil es die Sache im ESP enorm vereinfacht. Ansonsten müsste man sich mit einem kleinen AVR-MCU einen Umsetzer von I2C auf RS232 basteln.

Die Displays laufen wirklich über Serial !

Andererseits haben wir ja eine UART am ESP. Der wird derzeit ja nur zur erstmaligen Programmierung der Firmware und ggfs. um Ausgaben auf den Serial Monitor zu geben. Da könnte man natürlich ein solches Display dran hängen. Muss man halt die Ausgabe auf den Serial Monitor für opfern, dafür hat man ja dann das Display.

es sollte kein Problem sein weitere Serielle Schnittstellen anzusprechen.

Die Lib dazu ist HardwareSerial.h.

Damit lassen sich 3 UART Schnittstellen bedienen und auf (fast) belibige Pins zuortnen. Sollte auch mit Wifi funktionieren.

Vorschlag Touch Display oder Drehgeber auf X502.
da dort noch ein Eingang frei ist könnte man sogar den Stecker kodieren.

Hallo Leute, könnte mir jemand eine variable phasenverschiebung 0-360° übers gesamte frequenzband fur sigmastudio zusammenbasteln, wir möchten das dann in den Aurora dsp einpflegen,

Unsere Anforderungen im carhifi sind etwas höher als die momentanen Features des auverdion control,

Wir möchten uns einige Features und einstellbereiche dazu konfigurieren

Wenn jemand für mich den phasenschieber konfigurieren könnte und evtl das project dann später für mich speichern könnte und per Mail senden kann wäre das echt genital

Wir stehen natürlich auch erst am Anfang und wollen natürlich auch ein Teil dazu beitragen das es evtl auch im carhifi super anwendbar ist,
Die Hardware steht ziemlich weit vorn

Apologies as I do not speak German, rather than try to translate myself I will write in English and hope someone can understand me here. I purchased an Aurora DSP board in September and the XLR IO add-on.
I have completed wiring up power, and many accessories but I cannot get any sound out of the
unit. I am hoping for some help!
I have some pictures to show
my setup in case it is helpful. I am mostly a software engineer, so feel free to laugh at my wiring and prototype case made of cardboard (I am hoping to get everything working and putting in a fancy custom case soon!)

Everything boots up, the LCD works, the Wi-fi works, the rotary
encoder works.

I have tried many things, including changing which XLR ports I am using, volume,
bypassing DSP blocks, changing from 8-channel to FIR filter plug-ins.

It is running the latest software, freshly flashed. The only sound that will come out of the unit is a click on power-on, and a click if I change the settings in "Config Device". Otherwise, nada.

Advice? Could the unit be bad? I am not at all an electronics person, so I am not going to be able to troubleshoot the board components most likely. I do have a simple volt-meter and can follow instructions.
I have spent quite a bit of money and time and it seems **so close** to working, I do not want to give
up.

try flashing current FW (2.1.3). AFAIK 2.1.2 still had some bugs with sometimes no sound or noise.

Done, behavior is still the same however. No sound at all. Actually there was a strange white noise that slowly came up and then back down in volume.

Check wiring. Maybe you mixed up input/output or direction (red marker).

Double triple checked. The output and input boards are connected per the manual and for kicks I tried swapping them with no effect. The ribbon cables have a tab on them so they only fit in one way on both ends.

You can also remove the AddOn connections and connect input and output cable directly to the IDCs on the aurora board for a check. Please refer to manual for pin out.

You said something with white noise fading in and out. I saw that on a board where the customer has grounded the cold output of the DAC output and did run it in this configuration for a while. This damaged the opamp.

If you cannot find anything, you can return the boards for a check.

Hallo Zusammen,
Ich habe einen Streamer der auch externe Wordclock zu Verfügung stellt. Ich habe auch gesehen, dass über Konnektor X101, Pin 5 (WCLK_RX) angeschlossen werden kann. Mir ist nur nicht klar, wie die Konfiguration genau auszusehen hat. Irgend wie muss den DSP ja mitgeteilt werden, dass die externe Wordclock verwendet werden soll. Hat das schon mal jemand ausgetestet bzw. kann mir jemand sagen wie das korrekte vorgehen ist?

All channels seem to be out of commission.

If you cannot find anything, you can return the boards for a check.

I think that sending back for a check is a good idea. It is very possible that I may have hurt the board, Im not very skilled at the electronics part of all this.
